^^^^I used to be the exact same way. But after getting my TSX, Civic, and G37S new I don't think I will ever be able to buy something that was owned by someone else again......

 

get a barely used G35 sedan or a e46 m3

Like others have said, I'd go for a slightly used car.

If I was you, I would really a few months until the 2009 TSX comes out.

 

I'll be getting a spec B in a few months........ They are OK for fit and finish, but they are not in the "luxury" car realm. They are nice, but you want luxury.

My vote would be to save a few $$$, and try for a just off lease 06 TL. If you talk to the dealer (if you have a good one that is), they will let you know what is coming off lease in the next few months, and you can pick up a nice ride and have money for extras......

Or look at the G37. Luxury, sport, and a coupe all in one.

oh I can read, I'm just saying that for the money, a used m3 is hard to beat. Back seat isn't too bad either. I'm 6'1" and I was comfortable on a 5 hour drive.

 

I would absolutely love to hear your reasoning on why you don't want an American brand. Especially if the reasons aren't laughable...

Wait for the 09 TSX and buy it CPO if you like it. Otherwise get a TL. Never driven the IS but the ES is dreadfully boring to drive.

Gently used cars always make me wonder why the previous owner sold it so soon.....

Im not against it but i would really take a fine comb though a used car before buying.
