purplehaze, isn't your M3 coming next month? What color do u have on order? BMW will NOT let you change a special order color or change to a special order color this late in the order process.
My friend ordered a special color on his M3 and he changed his mind 2.5 months before the car was even built, but under a BMW "code" or rule the color could not be changed.....

Lemans and Avus are "very" close to each other......they are hard to tell apart in photos. In person its easier to tell, Lemans is more of a Royal blue.
I happent to be a big fan of Avus blue, ever since it was available on the 95 M3 (I ended up getting Daytona Violet at the time, because there were no Avus blues around).
Here are some M5s for comparison,
Avus on the left, middle is Lemans (Lemans replaced Avus on the M5), then Imola Red.
