With the economy the way it is, theft will only become more prevalent.

It always amazes me how nice thieves are by using bricks on the jack points.

I'm amazed they got the car to balance on the driver's side with one jack.

at least they didnt let the car hit the ground...that would cause more damage than the $$ of the rims, plus a lot of uneasiness if there was damage to the chasis.

Seems like a lot of work for wheels. At least they didn't leave the car on crates.

I hope they weren't stolen just to scrap them, that would really be sad

Those wheels are ugly too.... wtf!

Thieves like that can die slow. Its one thing if you're starving and can't get a job, but if you have the tools and means to take wheels off of a car, you're a fucking waste of life.

I just can't imagine coming out to go to your car, and seeing it like that with no wheels. I'd be in shock.

I guess there's nothing you can do to protect your RIMS. Don't know how useful wheel locks are, people are saying its real easy to get off.

not all thiefs are nice like that

I was driving with my dad to do some work on our old house in forest hills which is really a nice residential area, and I see some kid come out on the block before ours and his M45 had the wheels stolen and the thiefs didn't even bother bein 'nice' and leaving bricks... they left the car flat on the floor.. I felt bad, his family and him were just in shock

Thieves.... nice?

If they were nice, they'd steal from a dealer instead.

Wheel locks are a waste of time. If they want them, they will find a way to get them.

Cadillac Escalade rims used to be the most common around here, but yeah it's sad that people even bother stealing OEM rims let alone any rims.

you can probably find em in that "thieves market" at 127th and northern blvd...under the Van Wyck....by the Shea stadium parking. You can find all kinds of "used" wheels there.

Stock rims are expensive, I have been trying to decide to buy back some stock wheels or go aftermarket and thats all because of the price.

I've got something for all of you....

Jan 2008 somewhere between closing Friday Eve and 8:00 AM Sat, right at a dealer on a heavily travelled road, tough to tell from the camera phone pic but that's a milk crate near the front wheel well, and the wheels were A-Specs. Wheel locks are relatively easy to remove but this car didn't have them. Crushed rocker panel ftl.
