Ball joint bolt sheared last night!!!
WTF. Luckily I was just pulling out of a parking lot when it happened.
When the balljoint broke, the tire pulled hard left and the inner CV joint popped completely out of the socket. The bearings went flying in all directions. The car dropped to the ground. The wheel, now pointing to the left, pushed backwards and hit the wheel well, ruining the quarter panel.
I called Acura roadside assistance and they sent a tow truck out to get me. They towed the car to the nearest Acura Dealer, who much to my dismay, REFUSED TO DO ANY WORK ON THE DAMN THING. They don't want to do the body work. What asshats. Now I have to pay for towing to another shop down the road. I'm still waiting to hear from my insurance agent to see if anything will be covered.
Like I said, I'm just glad as hell that I wasn't going 65 mph on the highway with my family in the car when this happened.

I mean, repair shops make money by repairing cars.

Looks like I'm getting another car sooner than I thought because this car (CLS) is a total piece of shit. It's got 95K miles and this incident is going to cost me big. My guess so far is about $2000. The CV axle, ball joints and quarter panel must be replaced at the least.
I'm on my third transmission and it's showing signs of death. Other things replaced so far: Torque converter, two rear view mirrors, driver's seat cover, two seat heaters, navi DVD system, the list goes on. My experiences with Acura over-all have not been good and I am not getting another Honda product.
