You know I was thinking the SAME THING. I was going to wait till page 2 & suggest engine pics.... Mods are basic. Intake, tstat, tune, catch can, resonator deletes, sway bars, strut bars front & rear, 6MT motor mounts, trans solenoids, Mopar transmission control module.

I'll find a pic of my mods after work and append to this post.

2.55 inch supercharger pulley
AirRaid/KPE intake with intake cover
Corsa Touring axleback exhaust

I put out around 550 hp (e.g. 80 more whp) to the wheels with those humble mods.

I haven't done too much

JBA headers
Flowmaster mufflers
Grab-a-Trak full suspension kit (easily the best upgrade I've ever done, on any car I've owned)
Aluminum intake manifold

That's about it...I was going to put more money into the motor/transmission until I realized it is a convertible and doesn't need to go any faster. Thing is a money pit anyway.

Driving an Accord after owning a GTO must be a soul-sucking experience. And I say that liking Accords.

soul sucking is dead on. Esp since the GTO got the same gas mileage as the accord (around 21-22). But oh well, toys come and go.

Won't be long till there is something else fun around. Even been toying around the idea of a used 996TT

Good luck with that...you might have better luck finding a clean used SRT Jeep (though people are holding on to those even tighter now that its come out they are faster than the new model.)

This was a horrible thread idea Sarlacc... I have been forcing myself to not look at cars like this because I have talked myself out of a Mustang and was set on a 4door Wrangler in a year or so.

Asshole.

Consider a SRT charger? easier to find and the trunks on them are HUGE.

I hate the charger with a passion. I would consider the 300, but I'd really like a wagon. Also been looking for S4 Avants and E55 Wagons (almost pulled the trigger on a white E55 I was bidding on ebay for. Lost it by $1,000, was pissed)

There is something up with that car and I can't figure out what it is, it's been on Ebay for a good 4 months at a very low price and has never sold. So i've stayed away.

Aside from the misspellings.. it has all the hooks I'd look for.. of course, I'd still have it inspected, take it for a 30 min ride and bring a little fridge magnet and a white shop towel with me when I checked it out.

Here's one in Jessup, MD - about an hour away. Kinda pricey, and the place looks shady, but I'd be up for the trip if you want to check it out when you're up here. (Although I swore I'd never test drive a car with you again, I'd make an exception in this case since the best crab cakes I've ever had in my life are from a restaurant in the same area)

I live 10 minutes away and would be happy to go look at it if they still have it on Friday.

totally forgot about that Evo test drive. You and your cousin right? Or was it Brian? I just remember the sales guy grabbing the wheel and telling me it was time to head back.

That one is a little more then I was hoping to spend and i'll never do a dark colored car again. Will most likely have to wait until after the new baby comes till I can make the purchase.

Yup and I still love it after 3 years of ownership! Not a single rattle and never a single problem. Excited about the 2014 possibility of the Holden Commodore (Chevy SS Performance) as I might have to part with it.

Whoa, then I almost qualify with having the Mustang engine. Of course the 3.7L V6 is detuned to 272hp in my 6 because my badge says "Mazda".
