We were in a cab moving pretty fast, so I attribute that to the poor photo.

I always see people with "DUH" as their first 3 letters. If I got a "DUH" plate, I would take it. I'd get a new custom phrase.

actually, you attribute the poor photo to being in the moving cab... haha

They have just started issuing the 'E' series plates in Oregon. So far I've seen EAT and EAR. Some of the older ones I've seen worth mentioning are 'BUY', 'USA', and 'UEY' (my friend had this one for a while).

I also see some Washington Plates that have the last three letters 'WTF'.

Edit: An OSU Beavers plate always starts with 'B' and then has three rotating letters after a space. I saw one: 'B KUP'.

Last summer I saw a plate saying UDOUCHE

I wonder if the people at the DMV know what these plates say and are letting them through on purpose

didn't think to snap a photo when i saw it...but it took my friends and i about 5 minutes of staring at this plate while we were in traffic about a year ago to figure it out. Doesn't surprise me that it got through, it's pretty clever:

NIDBLGA

(NI "double G" A....spells a term i'd rather not use!)

I don't think this was a specialized plate, I am pretty sure the MODOT just issued is that way.
