Avoid thmotorsports

I ordered a SMITTYBILT winch Sunday.


I called Monday, it was "processing"


I called Tuesday it was "processing"




After three days THMotorsports says they want 400 to ship the winch.






I never got a response from management.






They claim they have items in stock but then say it is being drop shipped from Smitty.






Avoid THM.

That's horrible. The shipping should have been advertised up front!

How the hell did they try to reason they needed $400 to ship it? Obviously you told them the listing said free shipping, so color me confused

It says free, they accepted the order with 0 shipping, the order "processed" for three days as placed so I have no idea on what planet they can rationalize asking for anything let alone 61 under the price of the winch.

Add Autoplicity to the THM nightmare. I ordered the winch from them, similar thing happened. I paid their asking price that had again free shipping. They had it sitting in processing so I called. They said 75 to ship. I argued and finally said fine, then they said 55 more for the winch. I said f00k you.




WTF????




Also, turns out they are the same company.

That's totally fine, I don't mind drop shipping, but if the seller is offering free shipping, they can't come back and ask for more shipping, that's deceptive.

I agree it's their problem. They should know what it will cost them in the end to sell the product thru them to make any profit. Fuck em if they can't honor their "advertised" price!

I got the winch, from Autoanything for 1.00 less. No muss no fuss, just ordered and it came.

It was drop shipped from Smitty, to me proving the price was not unreasonable.
