Nice.
You do realize the second you take delivery you need to make a video for us, right?

wow this is amazing! I'm hoping to never have to sell any of the cars I buy from now on, but if i end up like you buying cars I'll need an acre of land for my cars alone lol.

Oh my Jesus
So far how would you say it ranks on your extensive list of previously owned cars?

Hard to say but so far it is the most restored muscle car I've ever owned. This car has been completely rotisseried about two years ago. Not a perfect job, but the closest I've ever had. Everything down to the door seals have been replaced or re-finished. I'll tweak a few things and replace the front seat (the only thing not done). Without much time to play with it, I'd certainly rank it in the top 10 for now.

Wow great read. Just read the entire thread and your autography is amazing. Seems like such a great experience. Wish I could do the same but I feel I would become to attached to a particular car possibly. I vote thread of the year and definitely await more updates. Oh an congrats on #38

You are a sick man.
The word "addict" traces to "addictus," the past participle of the Latin verb "addicere." "Addicere" combines the prefix "ad-," meaning "to or toward," and the verb "diocere." The standard meaning of "dicere" was "to say" (as exemplified in the words "dictate" and "dictionary," for instance), but its other senses were "to allot" and "to adjudge or give over." Thus, "addicere" meant "to give (oneself) over to "--i.e.," to give in or surrender".

Good weather today so I brought her out to the yard and snapped a few more, plus more video's. I need time to get her cleaned up and ready to drive.
It needs a new front seat and a arm rest for the drivers door. I have the arm rest on order, but haven't found the right replacement cover for the seat yet. I also need to detail the engine compartment. Can anyone tell me the best products to use to bring out a shine on the hoses and rubber?

For some reason if you attempt to use the HTML code photobucket provides, the player will show up, but the video wont play due to an error. Just copy the Image Code, it will show a screencap of the video, and if you click it it will open the video in another page. They keep coming up as red Xs for you because you are putting the direct video link in with [IMG][/IMG] tags. Just copy it directly from the IMG code to the left of the video in photobucket, like this:
Click quote if you want to see what the code I used looks like.

Update...
I started making minor tweaks over the past couple of weeks on the Nova and in the middle of it number 37 (denali) tossed crank bearings at 29000 miles. So much for cold start knock. She started making some real noise and I brought it to my regular dealer. Unlike the dealer i bought it from, they fixed me right up. they even gave me a loaner the whole time.
I am waiting for a few new goodies for the Nova And will post pics upon arrival.

Christmas comes early
New toys for the ride. The first thing done was to replace the drivers door armrest. Now I have to recover the front bench and throw a few goodies on her.

Your Nova SS is stunning sir. With delivery pics on here, I've been really drooling to the idea of eventually getting a muscle car.

No matter how great it is, there are always the little things. But I will enjoy that task over the winter and have close to a perfect ride in the spring.

Nothing major, the typical control arm bushings and ball joints. I may just go with tubular arms to give it better handling all around
Thanks E
