I hate to say it but at that price point the LFA should offer more performance than the GTR
Hells, for the price of an LFA, I could get a GT3RS and a GTR and still have $150K+ left over. Toyota wanted to make the LFA a limited edition, niche, iconic car like the Enzo. Unfortunately, they dropped the ball on Enzo-like performance. I think the 918 follows the footsteps laid by the Enzo to a better degree with brilliant hybrid technology, jawdropping Nurburgring times, ridiculous mileage per gallon and a style that is teh sexy.

IMO, exiting the freeway and doing a well executed 4th to 3rd or 3rd to 2nd rev-matched shift in my 911 is priceless.
Tested the Ferrari transmission in my boy's California and I was underwhelmed to say the least, even at 100 mph. I did several hot laps with the E-tronic Gallardo and while impressed by the technology and the 570hp rear engine, would still out of habit reach my left foot for the clutch LOL. Call me old fashioned but I still like rowing through 6 gears and using my left foot.

and
,...minus the 911 part
(cayman s in a few years maybe
)fsttyms1, maybe I am old fashioned, but I don't really care that the Ferrari (or whatever flappy paddle gearbox car) shifts faster. It's cool technology and makes the car faster etc, but I wanna do everything myself. If companies stopped making good manual transmissions, then I would probably just change over and that would be that. But for now,...if I can get a car with a nice traditional manual etc,.....sign me up.

Go Ferrari... I love the new Italia.
This is why I stay with Porsche.
