Auto Sales for September - Down (as to be expected)

This might be a re-post... but I thought it was interesting to see the numbers for Septembers auto sales broken down by make and manufacturer. Hummer is getting owned!

I imagined some brands would be hurting but I didn't imagine it would be this bad. Sadly I don't see this problem correcting itself in another quarter or two, I think we will see a decline in salespeople at dealerships over the next few months.

I also think these numbers are some what misleading, GM in particular, the only reason they did as well as they did is because they were practically giving away their vehicles. There sales volume may not have suffered as much as some what have thought but I'm sure they killed any chance of making a profit.

What Acura needs to do is kill off the poor selling Acura RL. I never saw the point of this car.
