AUDI TT??
had an oppurtunity to race one last night and blew it...this guy was ahead of me at the first light ..so i worked my way up to him...gave him the second gear learch a couple times... nothing...well im ahead of him now cruisin ,hoping he'll come up and take the bait...light turns yellow...i had to slam on the braked to catch it...not real bad but enough i got alittle chirp...anyway i had just gotten my comtech xhaust installed that morning and me and my friend were going to get beer for alittle get together... 
while at this light he stayed back on my rear wheel..i was reving my engine(in neutral) trying to egg him on ...asking my freind what do you think???(there's nothing worse than launching hard at light only to be the only one that does and end up catching the next light with the same people sitting beside you going whats wrong with that asss hole) anyway my friend gve me advie i should oh listened to he said just go...i was looking back seein if he'd give me a sign .i had to look through the rear quater window...well he launched...and i mean HARD...he was gone and there was nothing i could do that sneaky bastard...can we hang???...cause i ve been lookin for that guy again...next time he's mine

twisties.....don't try. But i think we might be able to take it if it were light to light. Also depends on how good the driver is because their manuals. This is with no mods. Add headers, CAI, etc., etc., we'd take it.

I agree, the 225 quattro's are pretty tough, my friend has a silver one and can pull 6 sec. flat with normal shifting (no double clutching or dropping the clutch). He is also buying a chip soon and said he can get over 350hp!

tt roadsters are pretty quick, 1/4 mile in 14.6...when i was stock, i lost to my friend in his tt by 4-5 car lengths off the line...he had a REALLY good launch (and i had a bad one plus i forgot to turn off vsa)...btw, he left 4 nice tire marks approaching 3rd gear, i was only about 1-2 car lengths behind him...in other words, our cars suck donkey balls off the line (it's HEAVY and FWD), but once we get into the 60-100 range, that's what i'm talking about!!! plus with a better launch, intake, headers, tires, vsa off, i think i should be able to hang with him, or even beat him...that is if he doesn't chip his car beforehand 
now where is that supercharger.....

The way you told your story was that you were harrassing him into racing. I don't care if you were back from the days of H-A, there is no reason to be acting like that. Ever hear of Road Rage? It gets a lot of people killed. If you wanted to know what the times of the TT were, you just should of asked without the story.

The thing to remember is that at 225hp the stock motor is already working pretty hard. Chipping that motor beyond 10-20% pushes it really hard, unless they're doing other mods. Modding the CL just takes advantage of the room Honda left for ya to play with. And there's lotsa room there. ;-)
