2002 Audi A4 Cabriolet..

Dunno if this has been posted... but I'm seeing it for the first time and I really like!

Looks less like an A4 and more like a C70 crossed with a TT.

I really like it! With a nice blue or silver paint job it would be awsome.

Me too... I found some info on it and it doesn't mention anything about it coming out in the US. Only mentions Europe and Australia. Hmm...

I'd buy it over a CLK or 3-series convertible.

Well cuz if its an '02 there its prolly '03 maybe even a '04 here.

You know how it goes with cabrios... gotta safen them up for us stoopid american drivers.

I'm sure it will be here at some point though... the entire A4 line is here... and now almost all of Audis line is here, so I doubt theyll stop that trend.

Theres a huge market for that car here... the 3-series convertible sells really well and the market is just begging for a lesser priced competitor.

I really like this thing!

I can see it with a 3" Drop... some big chrome rims and the whole StreetEffectz package.

As the resident Audi geek, here's my $0.02:

wow, not a fan of the lowered look at all. That may be cool to do to a civic, but an A4? Please don't.

As far as what it'll have, expect it to have the 170hp 1.8T and the 220hp 3.0 as engine options. The CVT may be offered on front drive versions (as on the rest of teh A4 line), but will not be available with quattro. Expect to see this launch in europe as an 03 (debut in spring), dunno when it'll come here. Maybe it'll come over with the new S4 as an 04 model...

Audi's playing with all sorts of possibilites to expand the A4 line's successes here. They're betting they can take a bigger chunk out of BMW's audience of status-conscious buyers. I think they're right, and not just because I just got an A6.

Oh cmon now...

The A4 is like euro-rice king. LOL

I see almost as many riced & ghetto'd A4's as I do Civics & Golfs.

Anyway, those pics are just leaning towards the extreme for effect. hehe

I prefer Comptech drop.

I would love to add another Audi to the stable. Keep in mind that Audi had a convertible for years (the model# just escaped my memory) in the US and it was still on sale in some overseas markets till last year. This car is just a late-comer replacement. Actullay, it's more of an upgrade than a replacement!!!
