ATTENTION: Austin, TX

I was driving on the new MOPAC extension tollway section and spotted an unmarked Dodge Charger highway patrol car. I talked to a coworker whos husband and sister are City of Austin Cops and she said they just got them in a couple of weeks ago.

They are black with dark ass tint, and a light bar inside across the top of the windshield and the top of the back window. There are also two stobe looking lights where foglights would be located. The one thing that easily gives them away is that they have black rims.

Happy motoring and whatch out for the poice(aka: the law, the poe poe, FIVE-O, onetime, the pigs, etc etc)

I once saw a car near where I live in a silver chevy monte carlo. I think cops should only be aloud to drive crown vics that are white and say police. I also think normal people should not be aloud to buy crown vics.

San Antonio Police has had them for a couple of months now. Pretty badass police cars, but definitely something new to look out for now.

To what I heard, most of the cities will be switching to the new Dodges for police vehicles now. Including Houston. Just give it time.

By the CHP, I don't think so.

Maybe you might get pulled over by the CHP, but I doubt that I will.

Well, I think this thread is especially relevant if you happen to be one of the Duke boys riding around in the General Lee. Sheriff Coltrain now has a hemi-powered Charger at his disposal.

But those of us who weren't planning on outrunning the police shouldn't be affected by this.
