I'm not up on all the Mercedes models but I'd never seen this one. Looked amazing in person.

I haven't seen one in silver yet, its always black or some "old man" color. I am not a fan of owning a black car, though it did look good! I like the silver, it would probably be my choice; then again for similar money I think I would probably go with an LS430.

Saw one last friday afternoon in Atlanta. It wasn't the 500 though *hint*
That thing is pure sex on wheels in person. Absolutely stunning. My only problem with it is that for $75,000, I'll pay the extra $5,000 and get an E55.

I'm not a sedan buyer but this car looked stunning. Pictures do not capture the look of this car, very light and delicate lines yet long and big.

Those are HOT !!!
I’ve only seen one on the road.
Driving back from Florida we saw one on I-95 somewhere in North Carolina.
It had manufacturer’s plates on it from Michigan.
We hung with it as best we could in our Sienna, but alas it was a lost cause.

That car looks amazing. I'm just not sure about the headlights, but the smooth line of the trunk is pure genius.

Nice car, not sure amazing is the word I would use to describe it though.
Personally, I think it looks like a bar of soap without the sport package.
The CLS55 with the optional 19s looks cool.

The white one there is drab. Needs a metallic paint to show the lines. The silver one in the sun was ethereal..looked almost unreal. That such a big car could still manage the lines with such a light feel to it. Yes I was impressed.
I prefer the other models more, I was just was struck by the delicate beauty of this big car.

The wife and I saw one in front of out local Starbucks while we were knocking down a couple of mochas. FUGLIER in person than in pics. IMHO, it's the second coming of the Infiniti J30.
I'd rather have an E500 or E55 over that thing.

So it has the flowing lines of a coupe. It still has 4 doors, shich usually bring sthe title of "sedan." Just call it a sport sedan or something to the equivalent. I do like the appearance of it, but I truly think of it as a sedan. It's just like Chevrolet and their ad campaign for the Avalanche that called it "the SUV that turns into a pickup." That's ghey. Just call it what it is: It's a crew cab pickup that has the back seat fold down and then gashes a giant hole in the rear wall into the cargo bed to give you the bed length of a normal truck while leaving the back of the cabin wide open and exposed to the elements. Nothing like driving around with all the road noise and the outside heat. Good one GM. Fucking morons.

Saw one at the MB dealer last month while getting my S serviced, not feeling the front. Over all its a nice car dont get me wrong but the front , IMO, looks like the lexus ES300.

The LA Times today has Dan Neil's review of the CLS500. He calls it the Cialis-500:
"If descriptions of exterior styling last over four hours, see your doctor."

i sat in one of these last night at the auto show, i think the car looks great on the outside but once you sit in it you realize that the car sucks. you'll pretty much bang your head every time you get in and out if you are over 5'5'' and the doors dont shut too well, for that price id just do it big and get a 745 or ls430
