That's a good CEO for a car company. You gotta have a guy who loves to drive and loves cars.

The so-called intelligent night vision system technology, a world first, will be available as an option on the new Honda Legend luxury sedan, to be launched in October.

Honda's is the first to pick out pedestrians, enclosing the image in an orange frame in a heads-up display reflected above the dashboard.
Legend luxury sedan? Don't they mean the RL? heads-up display

I've always liked HUD and I hope to see it trickle down to the TSX eventually.

And yes, it is still the Legend in Japan. :P

I guess intelligent night vision will be different than the regular night vision found on caddy's?

Edit: I didn't RTFA until just now. Sounds cool but I can just see the lawsuits happening when the system doesn't correctly identify a pedestrian and someone runs into them.

There's no guarantee it'll be available on the RL for the US market. Honda still has not exported that laser guided cruise control feature from the JDM Inspire to any US Acura. My guess is that they are also fearing the litigious nature of the American market with that, and most likely this night vision system.

Don't get too excited...its not an available option for the NA bound RL. Its only for JDM Legends.

Although, I am planning on keeping my TSX for 7 or 8 years and we'll see what technology is available then.

That remote sensing 007 thing could probably be much better seller in NA if it can detect PITA deers.
