I was wondering what is in those cars, turbo I'm sure along with all wheel drive. I've seen a few around, they look fast. Anyone raced one and does anyone have any engine info/horsepower info about them?

 

Yeah, my friend had one. We did not officially race, but the CLS is faster by about 2-3 cars.

They're pretty quick but one thing we've got in common it that thier auto trannies suck too!!!

 

I've heard from several mechanics, and auto radio shows that those cars are the biggest POS made by subaru.
I always did like their unique look.

yeh, they are unique looking. I like the windows on them, it's like a two-in-one window on both sides. They're also like the toyota celica's t.v. commercial for the action package--"Looks Fast" and that's about it. ANyone know the horsepower/torque ratings?

 

Ye olde SVX specs:

3.3L flat 6, 230hp@5400, 228lb/ft@4400. Mid to high 7's to 60, mid 15 in the quarter.

Call it what you want, it was unique.
