It's too bad, too. Alfa needs to get their shit together.

^ well that is what they are known for.... great cars when working, the only issue is they dont work a lot of the times.

That has been Alfa's M.O. since their inception. Their cars were always pieces of shit when it came to reliability

I think the best advice if you're really considering a Giulia is to get on an Alfa board and see what the common complaints/costs are. That's how I always research a vehicle I want to buy first.

I briefly browsed around there.... seems they are bigger D bags than BMW drivers

I’m partial to the ‘Start/Stop Issue, Car Didn't Start Again!’ thread myself.
Sorry but historically Alfa makes most German brands seem as reliable as Toyotas by comparison. But if it’s all about the driving experience and image (reliability be damned) then I say go for it.

Again, not in the market, but got a quote after the test drive. Even a massive discount wont offset a poor residual
$53,490 (fully loaded TI AWD with sport package, active suspension, and tech)
$11,390 discount
$42,190 selling price
0.32% interest
45% residual (10k miles, 39 mos)
$525/mo inc. tax
$2,400 out of pocket (595 bank, 380 dmv, 900 doc, 1st mos pmt)
...for apples to apples my loaded outback (10k, 36 mo) had a selling price within 2k of that. my lease is 335 w taxes....versus 525 w taxes. Thats a huge delta. Although i am comparing an excellent lease to a poor lease.

is that a 2.0T ? 45% residual with 10k miles? then low 40% for 12k?

That is expensive..... for the same drive off and and monthly, you can get a loaded 340i with 12k miles a year...
I know you obviously prefer the Guilia but.. one is 2.0t and the other is 3.0T.
