Anyone Have Experience with Integra GS-R, any and all comments welcome
A local Dealership has one for sale 2000 GS-R w 39k Miles . I read good reviews on it Engine/Suspension/Interior.
Anything In particular I should look out for ?
Recommendations ?
Likes/Dislikes ?
Dealer is asking $14,900. I would take it to My Acura Dealership right around the corner and have it looked over of course.
By now most of you know I have wanted a CLS-6 since my 01 CLS sold, but have constantly run into problems trying to get financed.
My thought for the time being is to get something less expensive, but fun to drive, add some mods, and start looking for a Condo/Townhouse/House, then get something more pricey when a few years down the line.
Thanks in advance

gs-r's are fucking dope. I was close to pruchasing one for my woman as her daily driver
Great engine and shifter. Only thing it's bare bones. A little buzy at high speeds but a fucking BLAST to drive. There are ashit load of mods available. I believe it's the b18 engine

My previous car was a '95 4dr.Gs-R. I loved that car btw!!! I had it for about 4-5 years and no real problems, but I maintained it like no other. The B18 is awesome and has soooo much potential. For 1 it had NO TRANNY PROBLEMS!!!! and in regards to the engine it, it had 105K and ran like a champ. It was fun as hell to drive but not too much power (stock that is) in the low rpm's, much like most hondas though. Interior was nice, nothing extravagant, just the basics. I loved the cluster though (mine was the JDM type R). Parts are fairly priced and was an all-around fun car. Gas was great on that thing for awhile unitl the modding began and went down a bit but was still good. If you have anything specific you wanna know, I can give my info on my experience with the car.....Have fun with it
They aren't terribly refined but what you get in return is RAW fun, lots of road feel, revs and a good kick in the pants time.
Get one if you want a 4 wheel street bike.

my gf had one that i drove from time to time..it's a really nice and fun car...i expected it to have a lil stiffer suspension since it was supposed to be "sporty" but it's a very well put together car
imo you should be able to talk down the price a little..my gf bought hers with full power and leather for 14.5k i believe...01 and had 2xxxx on the dial
she ended up selling that for a 97 type r....if you can find one in your area i recommend go test drive it...because gsr doesn't even compare to it at all =)

my friend has a 2000 gsr in white. Absolutely mint in and out. Black leather inside, not one scratch, rip or signs of wear. It has intake, header, exhaust (sounds really nice, not ricey at all) hids, and 18" RH CR's in silver. 5 spd manual also. Hes looking to get like 9K for the car. Not sure of the mileage, but it runs great. I was actually thinking of seeling my CL for it, but they get stolen like crazy where i live. nice cars when they are done tastefully.

wow, seems like you all really like the car, and have great things to say about it.
Here it is, Grasyon, you asked for pics.
As you guys can tell it has a lip on the front of it, and already has a lowered suspension. I went to look at it last night just to get an idea. I see no signs of any dents, dings, one wheel has a little rash on it, but other than a few little rock chips, it looks in excellent condition. I will go back and look at it during the day, it was all wet last night from the rain we got yesterday.

Also I'll be calling to find out insurance quote. For those of you that have has them, has the insurance been extremely high ?
I used to pay $336/Month for 98 EclipseGS, before I was 21
I made some adjustments to my policy, and was only paying $98/Month on my CLS, full coverage, $1000 deductibles.

I had a 96 GSR and it was a fucking blast. It was done right by me, all the bolt ons you could put on it. Also I had a full-ride sponsorship from Fosgate with that car, made a magazine because of that.
I think that was the most fun I had with a car.
Bad news..... got carjacked!! So ya gotta watch out there

I think the integera was about $20 higher every 6 months, nothing really noticeable. Only thing that bothered me sometimes is that it is small on the inside. My sister had a 99 Eclipse GS and it was much more comfortable if you were going on any kind of long trip and taking a friend or two.

but the fun factor may over ride the non roominess.

Eye candy in a few mins.........
look at this GS-R. Looks nice and its in black.. very rare to see a gs-r in black..
notice the seller says that he can turbo charge the car for 1500 extra on top of the wining bid if the buyer wants...
Does it really cost 1500 to turbocharge a GS-R?
