Anyone familiar with airbag replacement?

So I took my car in to the dealership on Wednesday for that Takata airbag recall, everything went smooth, kind of in-and-out. However I noticed as soon as I got back home something on my steering column/wheel keeps squeaking. It seems to do it when I go past some sort of threshold on the turning radius. Like when the wheel is turned X amount of degrees in either direction it squeaks.

Did anyone else have this problem? I know for a fact it wasn't like that before I took it in but why would they do anything that would create that squeak? I have a feeling if I call and complain they might try to deny any wrongdoing since "He only worked on the airbag, not the steering column" is what I'm sure they'd say. But... do they need to touch anything on the steering column or is it just the face of the steering wheel? Not even sure if it's coming from the column itself or what. Do I have a case or should I just chalk this up to a coincidence and have another mechanic look at it? I'm playing devil's advocate and assuming they won't try to goodwill anything.. I honestly haven't had a chance to call them yet, just wanted to see what others thought, since I do feel like I'm at a disadvantage here since the burden of proof is on my part.

My suggestion is to look at the shop manual to see what the airbag replacement entails and what parts are impacted by the replacement.
What year and model vehicle?

2003 CL-S I keep forgetting it's not in my user title anymore

and they told me they replaced the inflator, not the airbag itself. I'll have to look into the manual, though. Never thought of that for some reason..
