Anyone ever heard of "Concept One" Wheels?

My girlfriend just bought these wheels...

http://www.conceptonewheels.com/wheelhtml/ce28.html

They're Volk CE28 copies. Does anyone know if Concept One is a decent rim manufacturer? She doesn't really care about whether the rims are forged or whether or not they're lightweight, she just likes the way they look. They were pretty inexpensive, so as long as they're not going to crack on the first pothole she hits I think its fine. But I've never heard of the company before! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You get what you pay for. Simple as that.

I'm not asking for Volk quality out of the wheels. I'm just askin if the wheels are gonna crack on the first pothole she hits ... If people have owned these wheels before and they have known quality issues, then she'll return 'em. I know plenty of people who have bought Rota Wheels which make copies of a lot of popular wheels for a lot cheaper and they're solid wheels. They may not offer the same performance benefits as a lightweight forged wheel, but again .. she just wants it for looks.

You should find out how they are made, that will tell you if they're gonna crap out once you hit a pothole

Their website claims they are forged monoblock wheels. Forged is generally speaking good ... But just like anything else, I'd assume there are varying degrees to the quality of forged rims. Cast wheels can be good if they're made properly, but poorly made cast wheels can easily crack.
