Pretty cool. It was on the M3. The host and the guest driver were driving both a 6 speed and a SMG equipped M3. They turned off the DSC and showed the handling differences on a wet track. They looked like they were having a kick in the wet skid pad doing rear tail drifts and spinning the cars around. They also showed the Driving school tracks at the South Carolina Z3/X5 plant. Apparently you can also have any new BMW model you purchase delivered here for you to pick up. They actually have a sample of every model so you can take it out on the track without beating on your new one. Nice. . .

 

I saw it...it was freaking awesome. I actually went to a BMW Ultimate Driving Experience where you choose the car (I chose a 330...they didn't have any M-series cars to drive though) and the setup a small course for people to race around a track put together w/ cones. It was sweet...I burned the crap out fo the 330. They had a trainer and 3 others in the car. They briefly train you on how to drive the cars and where to slow and all that. Then they let you go by yourself for 3 laps and they time you. Nice, huh?

Well, it was fun and hopefully another one of those comes by my area!

when u buy a z8, u get a free trip to the ultimate driving experience in south carolina. U get to really learn how to drive the z8...but not yours... (my friend who has a z8 went)
