You will find these kind of things from time to time searching yahoo autos, autoweb, vehix, etc. They are scams. This guy is probably is a foreign country and you will get ripped off if you buy it. There is no way in hell someone would sell an "02 M3 even with 125k miles on it for 9grand unless it is a salvage vehicle.

He sends you a chasiers check through a third party. You cash check, send him the balance. By the time the bank finds out it's a scam, your left paying the bill back to the bank. look on craig's list, they will tell you all about this scam. My friend was selling an old pathfinder for $2000, a scammer tried to offer him $9,000 in cashier check.

he probably typed the price incorrectly...like maybe he meant tp put down $49,000 or maybe $39,000??? ( i dont know how much these go for so im taking a guess at those prices

There are a bunch of listings like this on Craigslist, like an '04 Evolution for $4k. The best thing to do is just ignore it, it's just a huge scam. My sister's fiance was telling me about this the other day. I actually saw the exact M3 the other day and commented about it and he told me about how they scam.
