I guess they target states where a convertiable will sell. I have seen alot of them recently down in south FL. Just this weekend I saw 6 of them. I think it's an ugly, overpriced car though.

I would wait the 10 months (local dealer wait time) to get an SL500 at MSRP.....the looks alone is worth the price difference between that and an SC430.
But, I don't hate the SC430.....even though its a bit feminine IMO.

The stocks rims on it have got to go, it does look somewhat feminine, but hard top/convertible is pretty awesome.
SL500 is nice as well, but that is just in a different league cause its extra 30k.

Burn some dust here
I see one every time I go home to my parents. That car is the shit, drive one if you think theyre anything less than that. I do believe that they are a lil feminine looking but who knows. BTW, 19 mos for a new Sl500. My dads Sl55 is 15 mos from now. I WILL POST PICS OF THAT BAD BOY TOO. After I drive the ever living shit outta it

To me it's really feminine. I have seen a lot of them lately for some reason. Definitely a lot more than CL's... The SL500 is amazing. I saw one on the road the other day. Now, THAT is a car. The Lexus just seems to remind me of a jelly bean

Just drove one a few hours ago, and many times in the last month. My Father-in-Law purchased one about ten months ago and have driven it many times.
Looks are subjective, which I do like it but not love it. The engine is great, smooth and pulls willingly. It does need a different TC to get it off the line with more authority.
The one drawback IMO is the floating, it doesn't handle as a sport touring vehicle should. Too much float and lazy steering feel (aka, typical Lexus)...

That there is the new Tom's SC 430. Probably more stuff in it than we could know.
