I haven't heard anything for sure from Dad(cause he works for Honda of America) but on the board (near the lunch area) they had a pic of one up it has a small article under it. but I think(personally) #1 2004 or 2005 they'll hit the market with something similar to the S2000 motor . I know y'all will laugh at this but I think it will give a stock type S a run for the money. (if they come in a 230 HP or more) cause of weight. I've also heard it will have BREMBOs from the factory. 17 inch rims.
My g/f's brother(which he's in the process of souping up his new Celica)(he just started at Honda) but he said They(Honda) is suppose to be coming out with a Civic type R for America (but it doesn't make sence since they just redid the Si this year)
(I can already hear it on the racing board DAMN CIVICS

According to the folks at clubrsx.com, the rsx-s already gives the auto cl-s a run for the money (I don't know how they hold up with the '03 6spd cl-s). My guess would be that the rsx-r with 20hp more than the rsx-s + lsd might hold its own against the cl-s 6spd.
We probably won't get one over here for a while though.
Just my own uneducated guess.
Oscar
edit-oh yeah, and they're lighter than the rsx-s as well
