http://www.onlinetires.com/default.aspx

They have cheaper tires than both Tirerack and Discounttiredirect.

They have a F rating in the BBB, but they have 1 good review on BBB as well.

The F rating doesn't make them very appealing to me. The money you save might not be worth it. You're taking a risk if they are a known problem seller. Try this site: http://www.treadepot.com/. I bought some tires from them for my sister's BMW and they were very good. Fast (and free ) shipping. Not always but they run specials on certain tires every now and then. Great prices too. Check them out, they might be a better deal.

I wouldn't buy from a place that has predominantly bad ratings/reviews just to save a few bucks. Check out edgeracing.com.

Did you read the article about retailers selling very old tires. I would stay away.

Wow, Good to know.

Tirerack has some bridgestone re-01r (05 production) going for a insane low price. 245/45/17 for $78 bucks a pop.

Anyways, here is the article for those who havent read it.

2005 production is fine given the 6 year max recommended lifespan.

I'm expecting 20k miles out of these tires... I also don't wear them down to the bare min. once I start seeing 5/32 I start tire shopping. Any more wear and there is too much of a safety, and handling trade off .. its just not worth it IMO

Noise - I'll say this much after 12-13k you'll start to hear them more and more. Brand new they are quiet as day.

Best summer tire I've ever rode on... and I did 40k miles last year in my TL
