Thanks for the tip. I am getting ready to down size from my 04 TL and was looking at the regular Mazda3. I didn't realize that the Speed model was just slightly more than that vanilla flavored. I'll probably end up getting one of those provided I get treated 'right' with trade in value.

not too sure on pre-owned prices.

so if i was gonna buy new, i'd say gti or accord (sedan or coupe). maybe even the new camry, but the one i'd want (se v6) might be over 25k.
