Andy's Autosports - HORROR STORY NEVER ORDER FROM THEM!

Ok, so I just wanted to warn everyone and their mother that Andy's Autosports are crooks.

If you're not familiar with my situation, I crushed my front bumper on a curb, ordered a replacement from Andy's because they said it was in stock ready to ship. So I ordered the bumper, called back 2 days later, they said it was not in stock, needed to be ordered from ViS, and would set me back 4 days. Fine, annoyed, but not the end fo the world. I had a Car show to be at in 3 weeks I could still get the bumper installed, painted in time for the show. I then called 4 days later to get tracking info, they said it was on back order it would set us back another 3 weeks!!!! I told them that wuld not work, so I wanted a refund. they said they'd charge me 10% restocking fee (WHAT STOCK, YOU DO NOT HAVE THE PART!!!!)

I disputed the charge on my credit card, but lost the case because of a policy deep within their web site. So now they have my bumper and $$$ so I called and asked for the refund minus the 10%

Well I got my check today, the bumper keep in mind was $412.99, they gave me $172.28!!!!!!!!! I emailed their customer service aftr talking to my credit card company (they can't do anything!)

I am goign to trash that damn company until the day I die. I am goign to report them to the better business bureau and I may take them to small claims court. Its my understanding since I ordered this using their web site, they must come here to MD to appear.

Several members in the 2G TL section got screwed by them, too. One member (oulaw) is a lawyer and is looking to sue them. I hope he destroys them.

Class action lawsuit = more money for lawyers, no money for you.

Damn, that sucks.

We were having problems with Wing's West ever since they were purchased by ViS. Similar problems too (never in stock, always backordered, ETA's are always wrong)... so we pretty much dropped Wing's West.

Sucks that the retailer would do that to you though. I think you'd have better luck in small claims court then with a class action, but who knows. Check with outlaw to see what he has cooking

Sorry jason, but if I had a nickle for all the times someone on this board threw out the C.A.L. card everytime that had a problem with their car, I'd be a rich man.

I think your best bet is to find a lawyer friend to write a well-written, nice but forceful letter addressing all the issues and requesting restitution or else. Let your lawyer figure out the rest.

probably what i will end up doing. and i have to check with my lawyer, but i remember going through a similar situation, ordering something over the internet and since techinically i ordered the part from my location (Maryland) they would have to send someone to Maryland to appear infront of hte judge....anyone know this law? I think i recall this being the case, but again, im no lawyer.....i will have to confirm and will let everyone know.

Capital One...what's in your wallet? I had a similar issue where I ordered some music gear and was told it was in stock only to be told 2 days later they had to order it just like in your case. I kept calling day after day for 3 days and recorded all the times I called and sent emails to them w/ no replies. Called the CC company and they were on it. Called the BBB in their area and had a report filed the next day. Company finally responded after I reported them and gave me a full refund. Good luck!

What kin dof credit card are you using, did you order thru the internet? did you sign anything? becasue the card company is supposed to support the customer, and if Andy's AS has too many flagged incidents, they get in trouble with their merchant services. Def soundfs retarted. I alwasy wondered hoiw they advertise their products as a Perfect fit guarenteed, when every case i have ever heard of FRP kits need mad modifications.

I'm also surprised your CC company left you out to dry on this one.
