Ford definitely gets an A+ for effor on the GT. But, I'd also rather have a Ferrari: it's a beauty AND a beast, not just a beast.

I happened to be at the Toronto Auto Show on 25/02/2005 and was standing a mere arm reach away from the GT and although it is quite an impressive looking vehicle, I was quite disappointed in the fit and finish of this vehicle. Body panels were not aligned and the white racing stripe looked like it was about to peel off the bottom front fender. Alas it is still a Ford even at that price tag.

The original GT40 was actually a LOLA Chassis with a FORD ENGINE. I think they should have let Lola design and build the chassis and Cosworth build the engine.

I saw both an F40 and F50 in England....it'll blow your mind away. F40 is a true racer, more than the ENZO.

I'll take the F430 anyday over the Ford GT. Sorry but paying 150+ grand for Ford doesn't sit well with me. Plus, the F430 is IMO, WAY more attractive both on the outside and inside. The GT looks funky.
