All new 2004 TL!!!

If you are the designer of the TL:

What are the spec that you would go for.

I would select:

4WD
300 HP+ engine ( 333 HP would be a nice number to rember )
6-speed SMG ( as fast as the stick and easy on the lazy man)

What are you interest in seeing in the next TL?

Hmmm

You do realize this is not a friggin 50K sports coupe right. I think 04 might be 295HP FWD but with SMG and 333HP. You gotta realistic. Believe it or not some people live in snow and they last thing they want is a 333 HP RWD monster. I mean my 260-HP CL-S handles horrible in the snow, can you imagine 333 to the ass. Can you say walker and broken hip. GO buy an M3 and get on with it.

Re: Hmmm

We all know our 3.2L is good for ~290HP....

With the next gen Accord rumored to be moving up to 240HP, I'm thinking 250~260 isn't unreasonable on the TL-P. S Types might move into 275~290 territory.

As BakedWafer said, most TL/CL owners aren't racers or car enthusiasts. Remember the demographics of our cars, 40~50 year old working folks who rarely use SS and never redline. :-)

Add a V-8 and you got the next S4.
Wake up and smell the dahm coffee that $hit ain't happening to no Tl.

Hell that $hit ain't happening to no Lexus......

Maybe some of you have no CLUE how conservative Honda is as a company. It took 6 months and some MAJOR bitching to get some dahm dual exhausts on the TL.
