Alignment Gurus

Trying to decipher what all this stuff means...

Left Front
Camber - Actual = .1, Before = .1, Specified Range = -.8 to .8
Caster - Actual = 2.1, Before = 2.1, Specified = 2.5, Range = 4.0

Right Front
Camber - Actual = .1, Before = .1, Specified Range = -.8 to .8
Caster - Actual = 2.7, Before = 2.7, Specified = 2.5, Range = 4.0

Front
Cross Camber - Actual = .0, Before = .0, Specified Range = -.8 to .8
Cross Caster - Actual = -.5, Before = -.5, Specified Range = --- to ---
Total Toe - Actual = .05, Before = .15, Specified Range = -.16 to .16

Left Rear
Camber - Actual = -1.2, Before = -1.2, Specified Range = -1.5 to -.5
Toe - Actual = .08, Before = .1, Specified Range = .0 to .16

Right Rear
Camber - Actual = -.6, Before = -.8, Specified Range = -1.5 to -.5
Toe - Actual = .1, Before = .48, Specified Range = .0 to .16

Rear
Total Toe - Actual = .17, Before = .58, Specified Range = .0 to .32
Thrust Angle - Actual = -.01, Before -.19, Specified Range --- to ---

The reason I'm posting this is because I thought my alignment was all out of whack because the front tires got worn badly/quickly. The guy said the alignment wasn't that bad before but that he made some adjustments. I noticed there are some differences between left and right in the "Actual". Should I be concerned?

Thanks for any help.

There is no individual toe readouts for the left and right front tires?

Thats probably what caused your wear.

Is it on the sheet you got?

I somehow forgot to list them:

Left front toe - Actual = .02, Before = .08, Specified range = -.08 to .08

Right front toe - Actual = .04, Before = .07, Specified range =-.08 to .08

Also, car is a 2005 Honda Accord EXV6.

I wouldn't worry about those angles post-alignment. They look good to me. You want at most a half degree (.5) of variance between left-right for the common alignment angles, but caster is an exception. He probably set it that way to compensate for road crown.... that way your steering wheel stays straight and true. Caster isn't a tire wear angle unless its set to the extreme, so I wouldn't worry about it.

I remember hearing about a problem with some newer Hondas, specifically the non-Si Civic coupe in which the rear (or was it front?) tires were worn really quickly even though alignment angles were within factory spec. I think it was because of the factory control arms or something.... but I haven't heard of an issue with the Accords.

My first set of tires wore perfectly even. My brother hit a curb and blew the left front when they needed replacing. I installed the second set and before I knew it the fronts wore badly so I just let it go so I could replace the front pair instead of all four later.

What threw me off is that the guy said the alignment wasn't way off so I wanted to make sure the specs I have now were fine because I noticed the different degrees on left/right, but not much difference between actual/before.

Did the tires wear out on the outside edges first?

When you bro hit a curb, he knocked the tie rod loose, which in turn led to misalinged toe that ate up your tires. get your tierods checked out/replaced, then do alignment again.
