Burgess Meredith FTW
But I like the 1G BodyStyle better.

I wouldn't say that I "miss it", I bought it with close to 100,000 miles on it, so it wasn't exactly in it's prime. But it was a great little car for it's time.

The best part of that commercial is the 1/4 mile segment, where the Lude just drives by the camera...I mean you can show the breaking...you can show the cornering...its hard to show the 1/4 mile though...and i think its funny how it just drives by with some cones on the track

Too funny - bragging about a 1/4 time of 16.68. And did anyone notice the announcer's voice was Burgess Meredith? He's the guy who played Mickey in the old Rocky films - and also played the penguin in the old 1960's Batman series.
Unfortunately he died in 1997.
He was a really good actor.

I had a '91 that I just loved. Had some good high speed runs in it: 130 across Utah down to Arches Natn'l Park; cruise @ 110 thru Wyoming on my way home from first year law school; lots of fun!

My friend has a '91 Prelude Si (last year with pop-up lights) that I'm going to buy from him and restore it to mint condition this summer
Maybe even put in a H22 motor
