After RSX .... what ??
With the new Honda Civic Si concept pushing 200HP, what do u guys think RSX is going to move into?? Its pretty sure that its going to be discontinued in its current incarnation.
I think it should become a coupe with enough power to compete with the 350Z, Boxster, TT, SC430 crowd. But if so, what does it need to be in that crowd. Engine choices, RWD/FWD??
Pour out ur thoughts

If it pushes an RSX-S price, it wont sell that well and may meet the same probable demise as the DC5. But the new Si could be a good competitor to the Ion Redline, Cobalt SS, Saturn tC and possible upcoming Nissan AZEAL.
As for a Z/Boxster/TT/SC competitor, think S2000; which IMHO is better than those four on many levels already.

I just wish Acura would come out with a coupe already... The suspense is killling me.
I'm itching for a new car, but nothing out there really is doing it for me (new Stang, G35C, 330, etc).

I agree Acurazine > * but I also post on ClubRSX. The local RSX group is full of really cool guys and girls. We hang out weekly.
With the amount of cash I've spent on the CL I could have a wickedly fast RSX.

I'm still ambiguous emotionally on the whole "RSX may go" thing. I still miss the Prelude, probably more than I would the RSX. And who cares when the Accord Coupe exists... right?
Still quite happy with the Integra of course, although I am adding oodles of miles on it during the weekends. And I would be disappointed if Acura did go with a no-coupe lineup. YES, the TSX/TL/RL is finally an excellent offering of sedans but let's face it, I only give a crap about coupes.

I'm a coupe guy too, but I can't understand why H/A would get rid of the RSX. I see alot of 'em on the road (more then CL's ) so they must be selling well..
Without the Prelude and CL in the line up they don't have a true 2+2 coupe except the accord and civic. (The NSX and S2000 are 2 seaters, the RSX is a hatchback).
Does H/A want us all coupe people to buy accords and civics ??

Two or three 2+2 coupes is more than any other automaker out there than I can think of.

GM, Chrysler, BMW, and Toyota are the other automakers I can find that have 2 or more 2+2 coupes. Of course the Sebring/Stratus and Celica are going to be very dead soon.
GM offers the Chevrolet Cobalt, Chevrolet Monte Carlo, and Pontiac GTO going forward; the Grand Am gets dropped this year but the G6 coupe (a dead ringer for the Toyota Solara anyway) enters the market.
BMW now has the 330Ci and the 645Ci. "Nice work, if you can get it."
Historically, I think BMW and Honda have offered the nicest cars as well as the best two-door models. I'd like to see Nissan offer the Azeal as a 2+2 compact but we'll see what happens.
