Advice on a popular SUV...
#81
I love the car the more I drive it. Its almost weird to drive. It looks low, but it sits high. Driving it, your eye level with almost every SUV and truck you come across. It has plenty of power around town. If your not careful, its easy to squeal the tires. Especially when stopped, then turning to the right or left. Give some excess gas, and there you go.
Its smooth, but it doesn't lean. It takes curves, without you knowing what it weighs. Its very secure in its handling abilities.
The interior is really comfortable. I'm glad mine is a base. The other two models have the 2+2+2 seating setup. The rear is plenty big for cargo, but not really enough for a 3rd row seat. The base model has the traditional 2+3 setup. The rear seats are plenty big, with good legroom. It has exceptional comfort for 4. It makes a really good roadtrip vehicle.
So that is just what I did. Took a small trip. About 200 miles round trip. Not too big, but enough to test it out. Went through some moderate hills. Took some curves at 65-70 and had no problem. The best thing mileage is incredible! It will go for 100 miles on a 1/4 tank. Pretty impressive for such a heavy vehicle.
During the daily commute, with 35% city / 65% highway, it averages 22mpg.
Overall, I like the car the more I have it.
