We added a G-35 auto/sport/navi in Desert Platinum with willow interior to our stable. Looks damn good next to the silver CL-S. I've been trading off with the little lady (she's 5'1"). My first impression (still very much in break-in) is that the the stock G is a little more "planted" on the road than the S. Maybe that's because I've still got the lousy stock rubber with 16,000 miles on it. But I have the feeling that the steering is a little more positive, the handling a little more aggressive. It's making me start to want to mod my S -- springs, sways, new rubber

Love the Navi on the G. Especially the day/night toggle and the birdseye view. Very cool.

I think it's a hell of a car at the price -- got it for $31,500 with 1.9% financing!

But don't worry guys, I stil love my CL. It feels more refined. Like it gets the job done with finesse. Bottom line is they're both great cars.

 

31,500 with navi? was that new? I was looking around here (Phoenix area) and they are up around 37 with navi.

How did you swing that deal?

The G is my brother's. The CL-S is mine. We just happen to be room mates

I have done nothing to my engine. My suspension is ALL done!!
Springs, Shocks, Camber Kits, Sways, and Tires.

The G is bone stock, but he got the sport and premium packages, as well as the factory aero kit, sides and rear, so it does well.

His car drives NIIICE!! Very solid. Both are about the same speed. No complaints!!!

 

You can get good deals on the 4 door G because it's been out for a while. The G34 Coupe is currently hard to get for less than 35k

 

BY the end of this year, the G35 Sedan will be available in AWD.
