It's 3 years out....how could that be the actual exhaust note?

You make a point, though I'm sure the engine has been tested to death already. Maybe that's their target? Three years is NOT very long in the automotive world. Most of the design work has already been done. Now it's a matter of tooling, suppliers and training.

3 years seems like a mighty long time IMHO if you have the engine and powertrain done and complete. Sure you have to field test and re-engineer as needed.....but 3 years just to figure out how to mass produce it and get a factory set up?

Seems like a long time for that....but hey, I dunno.

They could mean 3 model years but then again this is the on again off again NSX so who knows.
