Hi everyone i still wonder which is the most rust free and Acura/honda model with the best and most corrosion resistanse ?
Is it Honda legend/Acura rlx or it is something else can you tell me model and year i am asking because in my country it rains everyday and cars rust a lot.... all my honda and toyota cars are full with rust, specially in the winter so i am looking for my next car to be RUST free as much as possible, again i want car with maximum protection from the factory , i cannot afford brand new only used one.

 

I would say any prospective Acura/Honda, look under the car and see how much of a coating is on it. Some cars got a lot of the rust prevention coating when people bought them. One thing to avoid is the Gen 2 TL because of the transmission issues. I had a 99 Saber (TL) that had zero rust issues, but had a transmission issue. Common I think 1998-2003. Others on here can correct me.

Dunno, but 1G and 2G RLs/Honda Legend III and IVs are up there. 1G RL has some of the best coatings while the 2G has the best materials (Aluminum fenders, hood, and subframes). Main thing really is finding an Acura that is taken care of. Best bet is to go with a non-USA/Canada Acura since the NA coatings here tend to be worse. Examples being the horrible clearcoat on the USA Honda cars in the 2000s.
