Acura Legend vs LS400
Which one would you choose? Both pretty much started it for Acura and Lexus.
Personally, Id choose the Acura Legend hands down, classic design, still looks beautiful today, luxurious, reliable, offered in 6 speed... =D

woooo!!
Legend hands down. It's still a head turner when I see one on the streets!
LS, on the other hand, is just a big fat squarey box on wheels IMO. Granted I've heard it's smooth as butter and nice & quiet when driven.

I think out of all the Japanese lux brand, it was the Infiniti Q45 that looked the classiest:
I'd rank the Legend, but it doesn't have the size to give it that hefty look.

the last gen legend.
my buddy in high school and I would run the sh!t out of his. we bounce the rev limiter, e-brake it, do reverse dounuts.
I still wonder how that car made it through all that stuff but i still see him driving it around as his beater.

the 2nd gen legend is a beauty. It still looks good today...well at least the ones that are still in good condition like my moms. Still looks brand new. No problems from day one

Let me clarify, the 2nd Gen legend vs the 1st gen LS400. I personally would choose the Legend, the LS400 is probably a nice lofty boring as fuck car, but thats not me. Everytime i see a well kept Legend on the streets it always makes me look. Love that car, and still think its sexy as fuck to this day =D.

I almost bought a 92 SC400: Nakamichi stereo with sub and 12 disc changer, 250hp, 260tq, heated leather power seats, tcs, memory seats, keyless. If it hadnt been for the high upkeep costs of a "lex" (or so im told) i would've bought it to. The only caveat: no manual tranny. Ive driven the Lex, but never an Legend Coupe so tough call to make.
Sorry for straying from the topic, but the SC400 is a personal fav. of mine. Not typical lexus boring.

yea, the sc300/400 (NOT THE 430) look pretty good to me, not on the level of the 2gen legend coupe though. personally, i think the legend looks better than the whole lexus line up. just a car company thats boring as fuck to me, although big ups to them for being the most reliable brand and having great cust service so i hear.
