Acura Legend
welcome to AZ.
not sure what you're asking but if you're asking about the legend compared to the tl, they're both really nice cars. the legends' always been a classic and they're still pretty sought after.

Anything about the two. Performance, comfort, options, stuff like that. I personally loved the legend. It was a great car. A type II with a 6 speed is a car I still want. I like the TL it feels solid on the road, but I would like to have a 2 dr legend coupe.
The Acura Legend has morphed in to Acura RL (so if you want the next generation Legend, go to the RL section), if you are looking for a coupe to resemble the Legend coupe, maybe the CL type S???
it was the best car ive ever owned...type 2 six speed...one thing i wished the TL should have from the legend..are the soft touch doors (suction doors) those were sick...i really regret selling it...only cuz i ddnt have the money to fix the engine (there was knocking) i say u find one and get it
there is a green 4 door legend sitting at my neighbors house for 2 years with a blown head gasket and cracked engine block. its tempting to go over there and look at. too bad he beat the crap out of it, other wise i would have bought it off him already.

I like the TL don't get me wrong. I know that the legend was a class above the TL but it just seems so ahead of its time. I mean it had an electronic telescoping wheel. Still can't be found in some cars today. It has amazing power. I will never understand why they didn't make them rear wheel drive. I know that the RL is the legend replacement, but its a 4 door. They need to bring back the Legend couple with RWD. It would be a badass car. Performance wise I don't know which car is better. I would maybe say the TL just because it has Vtec but the legend had a potent engine as well.
I owned a '92 Legend L (4 door auto) that I bought off my parents (they bought it new). I finally sold it when it had 152k miles for $5k (it was in great shape) and then I bought the TL. So it was in the family for 12 years.
The Legend was a sturdy built car - great transmission and engine for the time. It had it's flaws (weak A/C, motor mounts, etc.), but they weren't horrible.
As others had mentioned, the 2 door coupe with a 6 speed was the most sought after because it had more horsepower, the manual trans and sharp looking - few of them made. The 4dr "L" version was the most popular vehicle in regards to volume sold.

I had an 89 L Coupe. In my opinion it is (was) a better car than the TL / CL. Drove it for about 100,000 miles and it still ran like new, had almost no flaws and to me still looks great.
I know the Legend has morphed into the RL, but I believe, in terms of the car size and intended owner, the TL / CL is closer to the Legend. The first gen Acuras (Legend, Integra and NSX) were Performance Luxury cars, and they raised the bar for the category.
