Acura Integra with 608,000 Miles
Saw this off another forum, I believe it was at an Acura in Fort Worth:
Hope it's not a repost. Binder has all the service records up to date. How's that for reliability?
Went to an Acura dealship today and picked up a TL...but on another note...there was an Integra with perfect exterior/interior...with 608,000 original miles...original motor too...
just thought i'd share...

That's cool, but since the car is in a dealership instead of on the road, I guess it's never going to make it into the "million mile club"
There was a thread about a Teg with 300K miles on the original clutch here before:

The integra was a very very solid car and very well built IMO. I may be biased as a former GS-R owner.
But even my car before it was totalled by a stupid hit and run driver, was rated by the dealership and insurance adjuster as being in very good shape even at 150K mi, and the motor was rated in great condition as well. For as many miles as I had on the car I got a lot of money back for it too.
If well taken care of, the integra can last anyone a very long time.
miss my teggy.

You know how volvo has the badges for the grilles for 200,000 mile club? Seems like Acura would need one...so much for 200,000 miles though...straight to the platinum 600,000 club house...
Is it the original tranny?

those 3800 GM motors are very strong and reliable. It's the same motors they've been using forever with just minor technological upgrades as time went on.

i'm positive they aren't selling the car.. its like an ad saying "acura's will last forever" so they made it really shiny and clean...
but simply wow, i wonder how much they bought that integ for

Amazing...
Though we have one guy on SaturnFans who has 490k on his 95 SL2 Auto. Second automatic transmission (one rebuild @ 300k), original engine. Burns one quart every 300 miles, needs a new CAT every two years to pass CA smog.
And yes, since it's a Saturn, lots and lots of preventive maintenance; he has practically rebuilt the entire car.

I've noticed that Honda tends to put very durable fabrics and plastics in their interiors. My old 89 Accord LX had a medium blue cloth interior that looked pristine after 218K miles. Just had wear items in the areas I listed above plus the seat bolster on the driver's side. I keep nothing inside of my car, so it always looked super clean.
