Good thing I bought a big roll of tape.
The passenger side started to come up this past weekend.
Now it looks like this:

Sorry Shawn. I hope they fix it cleanly.

p.s. I also hope your tape doesn't leave any residue behind that is hard to remove. That doesn't look like masking tape.

How long until they fix it?

The only tape I will need to remove is on the windshield and that should come off clean.
The entire roof panel is being replaced that’s why I’m not too concerned that it’s taped up like this.
If you notice I’ve avoided tape on all the black plastic and the painted “hoop” behind the roof panel since that’s staying on the car.

I had to scrub the edges of the roof with DAWN because the tape wasn’t sticking to the Zaino

Gonna call the dealer this afternoon and see if they have an updated time estimate.
These things are back-ordered all across the country right now and they haven’t even issued the official recall to everyone yet.
They’re just fixing the ones that are failing right now.
ALL 30,000+ painted tops from 2005 & 2006 will have to be done eventually.

I heard about this when it first started.....but I thought it was only the Z06. They better fix it and fix it right! Nothing would piss me off more the having to use duct tape to hold on the roof of my $50K+ Corvette!!!
