Acura 1.7EL

I want to purchase a gas saver, just wondering would it be possible to own a 1.7EL in the states? What would I need to do?

Buy a Civic EX sedan. We don't have the EL in the states. You'll miss out on the leather interior though.

Just wanted to get something you wont see in the states. If I get a Civic, i'll end up spending more money to converting it to an EL.

It should be the same process as when you bring over a car with bought in the US pass inspection, bring it up to federal regulations, import fees, tax, etc. One thing to warn is that you will lose any warranty on that car.

Anyway, EL or modded Civic...it going to get all scratched and banged up pretty soon considering your location

Seriously, . Door dings and scraped bumpers should be dealer-installed options in NYC.
