- No road salt (they do put gravel down so your car gets chipped to death instead of rusting to death)
- No sales tax (they rape you on the income tax so it all balances out)
- As Ken said, summers are gorgeous; however it only lasts four months, maximum. The remaining eight to nine months consist of steely gray and drizzle.

I balance out the Oregon income tax with some municipal/state bonds. No state or federal taxes

As much as I don't like having a front plate on and having tint on my car, I have thought about it before and there doesn't seem to be any solid reasons to use if you wanted to plead with an officer. "But my car looks cooler without/with it!" is not a valid excuse

After multiple tickets from the fine folks in downtown PDX, I switched to a garage. Initial cost is high, but no one fucks with my car and it is under cover all day.
