AAA Rant Need your Opinion

Alrite guys I'll just get right to this. About a month ago I got a flat coming back from Irvine, its about a 50 min trip away from home for me. I pull off the freeway and drive into the first lot I see which is a Taco Bell. I give AAA a call and in about 15 mins I have a driver there. So far so good. My car is slammed so it was pretty much going to be impossible to fit a regular floor jack under it. I needed them to mostly take of the lug nuts since I didnt have they key for them with me.

So after driving up on a block the truck driver pretty much forces the jack under scraping the sideskirt..I say no big deal because its the bottom. We move onto the wheel. Take the wheel off and he helps me roll it to the back of the car, okay great. I'd like to point out at this time that the truck driver is being a complete dick, I asked how his day was going and got one word answers, after that he continued to whistle the entire time. Shit got annoying. Anyways after he rolls the wheels toward the back of the car I ask him where the hole was. This is when the shit hits the fan, he tosses my rim over and just walks back toward the front of the car. He tosses over and this is when i was completely shocked..this was done to the side of where the lip is sticking out. My tires are stretched so there absolutely nothing to protect it. I call him out on it and told him that he scratched the lip doing that and he denies right away. What bs, we move forward and as he now takes his jack out from under my car he rips off paint with it!!! I cringe and dont say anything because he was just going to deny that as well.

I call AAA right away and file a complaint. I call the contracting company and file a complaint. It takes me 3 days to get to the contracting companies supervisor, I drive 45 mins to go see them to show them the damages, and in 5 mins he says they are'nt liable. WTF Fast forward to present day, I've been going back and forth with AAA about this incident and they keep asking for more pictures, pictures of the other wheels, pictures to show that the center bore doesnt touch the wheel, pictures of the sideskirt. I prove them wrong on one thing and they ask for another. At this point im just fed up with this crap, if anyone knows me, they know im pretty anal about my car and would not have done this myself. But AAA thinks otherwise...

I've talked to lawyers about this, but now i need your opinion on this guys, should I continue going through AAA or just go straight to my lawyers about this?

Okay im done with my rant now, sorry it was so long. I'll have pictures posted soon.

If AAA isn't cooperating, go with the other option.

Sorry to hear this, Thomas.

Dunno what to tell you man. That sucks.

I think I'd rather keep the key in the car and risk someone breaking in to it and jacking my wheels than dealing with assholes that hate their jobs and hate their lives.

Wack beans. Sorry to hear Thomas. Did you specifically request for a flat bed tow truck?

I usually ask for a flat bed on any of my cars lowered or not.

I say go for a lawyer already, sometimes a letter from one is enough to persuade the other party to settle.

GL Thomas!

Sorry to hear that happened to you. I not sure a lawyer would take that case because there's not much in it for them and it's your word against theirs. Next time specify to the operator that your car is lowered and ask them to dispatch someone experienced in dealing with lowered cars if possible. Good luck

Tell AAA that you are planning on having your lawyer contact them and you will file a BBB complaint since they seem to be taking better care of their contractor than their member - and that you will have all of your family members, co-workers and members of you VIP carr club cancel their memberships since they don't trust their members... throw in a mention about contacting channel 2 investigative reporter regarding consumer protection. And if you want to add something extra...(they hate it when you threaten to bad mouth them to anyone and possibly lose memberships)

Keep us posted.....
