Why the hate on the rims? I don't love them, but i certainly don't think they look like shit. Especially since the stock A8L comes stock with a wheel that has many spokes, and looks almost like the aftermarket wheels shwon above.

 

Yes the stock wheels are multi-spoked, but it carries an overall much classier look.

Those black wheels aren't classy.

 

heres my favorite car ULT audio has done. Its the not CLK the interior and trunk shot are from the S500. Its Silver sitting on some 20" lowenharts. This car sounds awesome to.

IMO, the current A8 is one of the best automotive designs inside-out in a long time.

 

A8 is my fav luxo car in it's class. The 2007 S-class may change that though.

 

I think S8 even looks better than S-class. S class looks like maybach.

those headlights look a little strange, kinda like an angular version of the cls headlamps. HOT loooking though otherwise.

 

The exterior of the A8 is very good but I disagree on the interior. I've been in an A8 5-6 times and while the interior is good, it has never blown me away. The S550's interior did.

It comes down to personal preference. Out of those two, I would take the S550. However, throw a Jaguar Super V8 in the mix and I would take that over anything else in the category.

 

That mesh grill is made by strut and that shit is about 3to 4k

 

Is the S550 the really fancy interior with the sheepskin and leather over everything? I've seen the pics for those, and they do look very plush and expensive. in that regard, I give the nod to the S-Class.

I think the A8 only has leather lining the center console, but not on the dash (and pretty much every inch of the interior) like in the Mercedes.

But design-wise, Audi. It's modern, beautiful. The new Mercedes got the wannabe 7-Series interior going on, and that design never impressed me. I thought it was a step back from the outgoing 7-Series's interior when it first launched.

The jag is also very plush, but I hate their looped center console designs and I don't like how the wood veneers all seem tacked on at the last minute. In the Audi, it looks like the interior was built around the wood, there's cohesion and uniformity.

The A8 doesn't really do it for me...even this one. So many other things I would buy with that kind of money

 

I like the A8 both stock and how it's modified above, but which rapper owns that 760Li? Pretty overdone, in my opinion.

And for the record, the new S550 is ridiculously hot. I'd take it over a regular A8L anyday of the week. The A8L W12, on the other hand...
