3.2 S-Line, has me thinking

 

does the S line have anything to do w/ the S4? or is it just a step up from a normal A4 before an S4?

 

I believe it is essentially a sport-package equipped A4 with some trim modifications (e.g. aluminum interior accents, S-line badges, special wheel and tire package, yada yada).

 

Correct, it is like a M491 without the Turbo.

 

The A4 with the S-line package looks almost dead-on to an S4. I saw a brand-new B7 A4 in grey parked and I could've sworn it was an S4. I was wrong.

It's a nice-looking car. I would definitely look into it if you're looking for a wagon. The Avant is pretty badass, V8 or not.

 

the avants actually have a slightly stiffer body than the sedans. at least thats what i have heard. maybe due to the D pillars, i guess?
