as kamlung said, the auto trannys in the 'lude are garbage...not to mention they are a LOT slower than the 5spd, and don't make the car fun.

Your boy needs to reattach his balls and get a clutch.

I was hoping it was just a fluke about the trannies, I guess I'll pass on that. I already have 1 glass tranny to worry about I don't need 2.

Sorry to hijack this thread, but i think there are far better deals out there than this one. I sold my 97 SH with factory bodykit, heated seats (very rare), red/black leather and a few Japanese spec SiR OEM parts for 9500.00, two years ago. The car was imac as you can tell from the pics and had 67K miles.

Some pictures after a wash and a few days before it got sold

I am not a big fan of the red/black upholstery (I do not like it in the Altima SE-R neither) but that Lude you had is hot!!! Is that the OEM body kit??

I love ludes I had a 91 Si, that little pocket rocket was one of my favorite cars I ever owned. I'll keep looking for a 5spd, the one I spotted was red also.

My brother is driving my old 99 Prelude auto. We've never had any problems with the car. I love that car, too bad he lives so far away.

IIRC, the 97 Prelude AT was the first Honda (at least stateside) with an SS tranny. (correct me if I am wrong)
