My friend just asked me to sell his cousin's beat up 97 eclipse gs for him but before I sell the car I wanted to replace some parts and detail the car. I figured since I have lots time during the summer so why not? I was thinking about replace all his rice parts and missing oem parts but I wasn't able to find any parts. I tried 3 different mitisubishi forums and ebay but no luck yet. Any ex-eclipse owner out there might know the answer to this?
btw, I will try to post some pictures of before and after to show things that I worked on... I'm excited to see the final result to that car before I sell it.

My half bro had a 98 gs. The local junkyard here on average has 10-15 of them whenever I go and thats usually where I got parts unless we needed something new, then we just went to the dealership.

thats true, thats why we normally went the junk yard route. There are a ton of them there, talk about cheap replacement parts! We got so much stuff for my half bro's eclipse there.

Thats unfortunate. If I had the know-how, I could pretty much build complete working 5.0 stangs, camaros, caprices, integras and eclipses from scratch with the amount of them over at the one I go to. Makes me feel like picking up one of those for a beater and just replace any broken parts with some from the junkyard.

There is always ebay...maybe a swap shop?
