i would not cut a hole in my headlight for this ! besides what happeneds if he sucks up rain ? trash bag ? leaves ? he's done !!! he's gonna blow his motor without a filter and now his headlight will fog up and be humid

Three Wheelin'
I take my passenger side headlight out and run the intake through there with a velocity stack, but only at the drag strip. It works like a ram air system. Chopping up the headlight is a bit much. He really didn't say anything about daily driving without a filter so who knows.

Did the OP ever even bother testing the difference in airflow for a stadard CAI vs. the 4"? I gotta imagine on a civic it's less than 3"
Sorry but there is most likely zero gain for using a 4" intake when the rest of the intake tract can't take in more air. Airflow 101

Drifting
Yeah cause there's never anything flying around an outdoor track. ![Roll Eyes](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif)

Someday, an RS6 Avant+
The OP of that thread is a manufacturer of the intake. So for those that track their
, it may have an application, but no filter at all is bad.
