4'' intake system !

k guys i havent been here in a while cuz i sold my cl and got me a brand new civic, my heart is till with my cl so dont worry. cgeck what this moron did to his civic lol i couldent resist lmfao !!

i would not cut a hole in my headlight for this ! besides what happeneds if he sucks up rain ? trash bag ? leaves ? he's done !!! he's gonna blow his motor without a filter and now his headlight will fog up and be humid

its designed for cars that dont see rain, leaves or trash. becasue its not daily driven, and usually only tracked

I take my passenger side headlight out and run the intake through there with a velocity stack, but only at the drag strip. It works like a ram air system. Chopping up the headlight is a bit much. He really didn't say anything about daily driving without a filter so who knows.

Yeah cause there's never anything flying around an outdoor track.

Did the OP ever even bother testing the difference in airflow for a stadard CAI vs. the 4"? I gotta imagine on a civic it's less than 3"
Sorry but there is most likely zero gain for using a 4" intake when the rest of the intake tract can't take in more air. Airflow 101

It would be interesting to see if there is a any ram air type effect at speed, but I would imagine you need a bigger throat than the headlight for that. As long as it's track only they could just take the whole headlight out... along with the interior.

The OP of that thread is a manufacturer of the intake. So for those that track their , it may have an application, but no filter at all is bad.
