"Fast on the heels of the reborn Nissan Z-car is this convertible version. Nissan won't let even a year pass before removing the 350Z's top. Plans are to offer it in the US sometime between Feb and April 2003. The 350Z convert shares all the mechanical components with the recently introduced coupe, including the 287hp, 3.5 liter V6 and optional auto or manual tranny's. The Z will have a power-operated top (just release one latch) that tucks under a body-color tonneau. No word on pricing, but figure about $35K to start.
