350Z baby come to me last night...and today was our first big snowfall...DAMN!
first off, happy thanksgiving to all, enjoy (even in canada thanksgiving was last month, Columbus Day to you yankees)
second, i am being torn apart here. 2 days ago, my father bought a brand-new '08 M3. he loved it. he also has a 350Z. last night, after i had finished switching the winters on (not a second too late, too, it seems). then my dad calls me into his study, and there's a tiny box on his desk. he has this smirk on his face, which means that something big is going to happen.
that was an understatement.
he said "son, you may have noticed a new resident in our garage" (YA THINK?), and now, i feel i have no need for my Nissan. im getting old, and i just need more space and more power to fill my needs. so, as a birthday present, i give you this" this is when he nudges the box towards me. obviously, the keys to the 350Z are there. i am speechless.
its MINE!!!!!!
BTW my birthday was in september.
no pics of the Z, but its a stock silver '05, and did i mention ITS MINE!!!?
now the question is, do i sell the TL? i really love the TL, and i kinda need it (carpooling). no way in hell iam selling the 350.
its around 11 at this time. so i decide to wait till tomorrow (today) to try it out. wouldn't you know it? our first big snowfall came today and i am soooooo ANNYOED! now i have to wait until spring to drive it. until then, i can pas time by cleaning it, i guess. Dad has never really been into cleaning cars
anyways,i now have a silver '05 350Z and an '03 TL-S and i am HAPPY!

edit: I meant you got money to buy an M3 not a 99 dollars camera? Tell me where you are in Canada and I'll gladly check-up why your local dealership received his M3s before us.

My bad. It does seem like they arrived, but he's in Canada just like me.It might be me but I haven't heard of a canadian dollar with M3s yet.I did not say he was the first to get them on the list, but said among the first dealers in Canada. I still stand by my comments because I'd love to see some pictures.I don't know if you were/are reffering about me when you talk about haters, but I did not hate in any way.Congrats and happy for him he got into the Z.

One person lives in Guatemala, one in Italy. As far as I know, they haven't made it to this side of the world yet. My last conversation with a BMW rep (yesterday) was that if I remember him correctly, the coupe is scheduled for march production, the convertible for may production.
Don't you think that if a customer can actually take possession of an M3 in North America or even Canada, they should be able to configure the car on BMW's website? Guess what, the M3 is still under the category of "Future Vehicles", implying that it's not available in this part of the world yet!

The M3 is not on sale in North America at this time, nor will they be until March. So unless your father has a grey market car, your full of shit. If your father does have a grey market car, post pics or your full of shit.
